Before the hotel and tavern of Pointe-Fortune the Cottage Hotel began in 1967 at this time Georges and Thérèse Séguin were the owners of the business. Following the death of Mr Séguin in 1986 Michel and his Mother (Thérèse) managed the business. The name was changed to Le Bar Cottage. After several years; the bar section was put aside to give way to a new formula. In 1995 Michel and his wife Andrée took over the business and changed the name to "Resto-Bar Zool" as it’s known today. That same year the famous wood oven for pizza was built. In 2000 the third floor was demolished to make more room for the restaurant. The first brunch and buffet made it's debut that same year. Today Michel and Andrée together their children, as a team, work very hard to continue and improve the family business.
Today Michel and Andrée teamed with their children together we work very hard to continue and improve the family business.
